My stay with the New Yorker was amazing. The staff, the reception team was great. I arrived at 1AM from a long flight and they were very acccomodating and the check-in was quick and seamless. I was upgraded to the 38th floor, the view of NYC skyline and the Empire State Building were just incredible! The next day I have a train leaving from Moynihan/Penn station, the New Yorker is in perfect location for it, just 3 minutes walk. Overall, perfect stay!

I would happily stay there...
Positives:
The location. I stayed on two occasions in March because I loved the location and the beds were extremely comfortable. I also appreciated the room upgrade but they need to sort out the noisy air conditioning. I had this in both my rooms.
Negatives:
The very noisy air conditioning that sounded like a jet plane. It came on at odd hours. It needs upgrading. When I checked out I mentioned it. I got an apology and was told hopefully it’s not every room!!
