Every single staff member went above and beyond. They were all so kind, helpful, very welcoming. The cookie and the complimentary coffees were also an excellent touch. Thank you for everything

I was given a room so small that the sink was outside of the bathroom. The staff are good and very friendly. But do not stay in room 802. It his not large enough for anything and should not have a queen bed in the room. I'm shocked that IHG approved of this hotel. The reason for the popularity of the hotel is that there are so few reasonable hotels on the UES go Manhattan that the Franklin becomes booked very fast. The only real competitors are the Mark and the Carlyle. Had I known more about the rooms and the size of the "queen rooms," I never would have booked the hotel.

There was a situation resulting from a bad cooling unit that did cause some strain on our ability to rest. The front desk staff responded immediately and while the issue could not be resolved/repaired, the staff member did make a good effort to address the situation.

Rooms were small (but typical for NY), the AC/fan in the room is complicated to figure out. It was either sweltering in there or freezing. I had a hard time finding an in between.
