Room 424 was very loud. We could hear everything the ladies in the next room were saying. Also the elevator was directly behind our bathroom, so we had a constant loud mechanical noise the entire stay.

Okay for the discounted price...

Fabulous historic hotel in the Saratoga Springs Spa park. Rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable however the standard rooms are a bit small. Restaurant was very good.
Negatives:
Two issues - 1) Hotel was closing for the winter and the heat to our room was turned off. Eventually got a space heater, however on the weekend, the heat miraculously came back on - Guess it was too expensive to heat when there were less people in the hotel -- Very annoying. 2.) There is a $25/day amenity fee which booking.com said was included. If everyone has to pay the fee, then it should just be a part of the room rate. Shame on a state owned hotel charging junk fees

strange with these old hotels, but the TV work's the Air conditioner didn't :( TV didn't work, Air Conditioner did work.
Had maintenance up to sort it and they managed to get both working for a short time.
But as we were there with friends we weren't really in our room that much :)

Lovely hotel , right inside the Saratoga Springs park. It was clean and the staff was nice.
Negatives:
We were there for one night , so no complaints. Would be nice if there was a small refrigerator in the room. The only accessible outlet was under the desk so a power strip on top of the desk would be helpful.
