Hilton is losing their reputation. Your breakfast wasn’t free. It was $10. I decided to not pass judgment until I saw it-think maybe it would be over the top. Nope. No better than what others offer for free. Additionally, I noticed you wanted to charge patrons $2.50 for bottles of water. This may have been my last Hilton trip and I think I’ll throw my membership card away…you just aren’t the best any more.

Our room overlooked the interstate. As a result, we had traffic noise all night. In addition, the property failed to disclose a supplemental fee for traveling with a pet. During the booking, I disclosed that I was traveling with an elderly cat and the hotel confirmed the reservation at a guaranteed price. When we arrived at the hotel, I confirmed the price and mentioned the pet. When I checked out, I paid the agreed upon amount. I was astonished to receive an additional charge 5 days after we left. When I asked about the charge, I was told the hotel did a routine deep cleaning after every pet visit. We are positive that our elderly cat did not do any damage to the room. Had the hotel disclosed this pet fee ahead of time, I would have gladly paid the fee (or booked elsewhere). I consider this to be highly questionable business practice and I hope that other travellers benefit from my experience.
