The room was awesome! It was VERY comfortable, spacious and clean.
Negatives:
I didn’t like the communication of staff. We had a really hard time checking in even though the room was already paid for. We were there for a work training and therefore the company whom we were partnered with had already taken care of the stay, the front desk gave us a very hard time checking into our room. We waited in the lobby with our luggage for over an hour after arriving. It was also very late and we were tired. I didn’t like that fact that every thing was laid out in the notes but the rep didn’t take the time to thoroughly read through the notes. He wanted me to check into my own reservation and that’s what he gets paid to do. I was not pleased at all with that outcome.

All was wonderful including the politeness and attentiveness of the cleaning professionals. The front area people were attentive, friendly, insiteful and helpful in every way. The valets were great. Breakfast wonderful. I really enjoyed the location of my room. The little happy hour fit the bill and certainly the dog friendliness of the hotel added to the overall charming ambience. Arras definitely was a major plus for my stay in Asheville.

Hotel was really nice and the staff amazing! We went with out small dog and he was greeted with a goody bag. Location is excellent. Best hotel we’ve stayed at.
