For the benefit of travelers plans, I think the property should be clear about serving breakfast beverages (coffee, tea, and juices) and pastries. This does not impact or bother me, but free breakfast typically suggests more than is offered here.

They never cleaned the room even after requested. TV remote was busted, and they taped it back together, worked part of the time. There was no mention. of additional charged for pet until we checked had to pay another 40 dollars

Check in was quick and efficient. Staff happy to engage if you want a small conversation. Staff very pleasant. Room clean and tidy. Hotel is located at one end of Black Mountain, but within easy walking distance. Bed was comfortable. Tub was of a size that you could soak (important to us Brits!) Dollar General nearby for things you may have forgotten. Microwave and fridge all working. In the main, quiet, not paper thin walls.

That being said, as all doors are facing out into the car park area, if someone arrives late or with a hoard of kids, it can be for that period of the unload a tad noisy. It settles down quick enough and this is more to do with the selfishness of people than anything the hotel can sort.
