Front desk staff Lindsay and the young woman on duty when I checked out Friday, Oct 17 were the best things about this stay. The gentleman working breakfast was also very friendly. All 3 were welcoming with wonderful attitudes which is not found these days as often as it should in hospitality service. It was very quiet overnight which was a huge plus despite the carpet dryers running all night. Those actually offered a muting sound so if there was outside noise it couldn't be heard. The location was extremely convenient to an off campus UNC hospital clinic.
Negatives:
Bed was hard. Pillows smelled of sweat. Interior was worn, rundown and desperate for upgrade. This is not a shining example of the Hampton brand in any way and a huge disappointment. Paying $10 to park lot is absolutely outrageous! Won't stay there again.

The location is great, the hotel was very clean and comfortable the staff very helpful and professional and very friendly. The beds were comfy and pillows too. There's plenty of room in the rooms! The cost is good and parking was easy.
