The food I ordered for dinner was good. Breakfast did what it was supposed to do.

Prior to check out, I went downstairs to inquire about room service. I orderedbreakfast the night before. I wanted to know the time frame so I could prepare before my early check-out at 7:30 am. One of the female kitchen staff members had a terrible attitude after front staff asked a question on my behalf. She was rude and dismissive. She didn't even try to respond or talk to someone on my behalf. She kept saying, "That ain't me. I'm not doing that," as she was walking away. She didn't try to assist in any kind of way. Someone else delivered my food who observed the entire incident, and apologized for the other staff members behavior towards me. I was told the individual who was rude was a new employee and didn't know. I expect better. Being new is not an excuse for rude behaviors towards guests.

We loved the beauty & decor of the hotel...the breakfast was delicious...the room and, especially, the bed, were exceptionally comfortable. The staff was exceptional, upon arrival & departure & breakfast team. Our stay was amazing!
Negatives:
There was a strange smell in the room upon arrival, however, it dissipated after a couple of hours. The ceiling was stained with circles that seemed to suggest a prior leak in almost the whole of the ceiling...unsightly but in the shadows of dark, hard to see until daylight or all lights are turned on throughout the entire room. The parking lot could use more lighting & the front desk may think of creating a car identification system to minimally protect guest vehicles. Otherwise, there wasn't much we didn't like.
