The staff was so pleasant and helpful. I spoke with the front desk clerk when we got there (I think her name was Laura). She was friendly and helpful. Then in the morning the gentlemen with red hair was very cordial and kind. We loved the breakfast and the room was extremely comfortable

There were some things that weren’t working. The door to the pool was broken and the snack machine was not there even though the sign directed us to it.

The facilities were in need of up keeping or repair. They were preparing to replace carpets that were coming up. Our door did not have a seal around it, letting in A LOT of light from the hall during the night. I think they had removed them when they repainted the frames but had not replaced.

The front desk staff was horrible with a capital H. She showed very obvious signs of racism and she kept and overcharged for a one-night, night one-room accommodation.

The AC unit in the room was extremely loud, literally sounded like being on the runway at an airport. ALSO I strongly disagree with the additional $100 hold on my credit card to stay the night. I paid for room then when got there was told that we could not stay unless we allowed them to hold an additional $100 on my card. We almost left because of that but was late. Worst part is we didn't know about charge till we arrived at the hotel.
