I loved the breakfast and the time allowance to eat it. I didn't have to rush to get up and eat.
I also love that it's so close to the beach.
The room was a good room. Nice and comfortable.
We ate at the bar and the food was great. The bar staff was friendly.
Negatives:
The balcony doors were a little off. We had to push it hard to to get it to close without the air coming through it.
Also the window had air coming in. Might need some stripping or something.

This is a hotel on the beach on the Outer Banks and is beautifully situated!
The staff are great. There is a little cafe/resto in the lobby of the hotel where Dave presides and cooks and provides guests something to eat in the case of fog and rain, as we experienced.
Negatives:
Very dated! Elevators are ancient. Rooms worn and ratty. We had trouble getting into our room because of mechanical issues with the door handle. The pay system was down so we had problems registering!!!
