Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

This all-suite hotel located a 15 minute drive from Central Raleigh offers free Wi-Fi and a kitchenette in every suite. North Carolina State University is a 10 minute drive from the hotel. A sitting area with cable TV is found in each suite at the Candlewood Suites Raleigh Crabtree. All suites come with a work desk and ironing facilities. A fitness center and a laundromat are offered on-site at the Raleigh Crabtree Candlewood Suites. The hotel also features barbecue facilities and a picnic area. The hotel is located off Interstate 440, less than 5 miles from Meredith College. The RBC Center is a 10 minute drive away.

Positives:
I've stayed here before and will always return. For a rate lower than most area hotels, I get a good-sized room with a kitchenette and good space to work in, with two comfortable chairs to read in. Outlets are well spaced, curtains shut out night and morning light, bathroom is fine. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

Staff was nice, beyond their control on what goes on here, as they just work there, staff was friendly and polite.

Room was nice, overall clean but the smell was horrendous, they toot about non-smoking rooms, I specifically requested a non-smoking room due to allergies. This room was so nasty smelling, cigarette smoke smell coming from the bathroom exhaust area. I woke up at 1 am to a burning smell, called the desk and the lady came up and agreed that the room smelled bad. Nothing she could do. Beyond her control. All my clothes and suites wreaked of this smell. Had to take my clothes for cleaning as well as my suits once I left. It was disgusting. Never again. I lasted 2 nights only because I had nowhere to go. Beyond disgusting the smell.

Staff are helpful, diligent, welcoming, friendly--absolutely committed to providing service beyond the call of duty. The hotel room is really a small apartment, with well-equipped kitchen and workspace--very good for a longer stay. I look forward to staying at Candlewood Suites when I travel, especially when I need a home away from home for a few dats.
