Aloft Wilmington at Coastline Center

Negatives: Parking is ridiculously expensive. Very noisy at night, especially in the neighboring parking lot. Walls are thin. Woken up at 1:30 by people in the hallway. Difficult to fall back asleep with the horns outside the window. Layout of the room, with a shared showered, is really silly. No good coffee places within walking distance.

Negatives: It took us 20mins to check in, because the night front desk worker had a problem finding my reservation.

Negatives: $21 a day parking

Negatives: sheets didn’t fit bed and kept bunching off and coming off bed

Negatives: My only complaint is the faucet on the bathroom sink was stationary

Negatives: no coffee, expensive, no parking , not much value at all. much better options in Wilmington

Negatives: There wasn’t anything about this hotel that I didn’t like.

Negatives: pricey, lumpy mattresses, not even comp coffee. Hallway looks like a prison, elevator confusing to find. very overpriced

Negatives: I always stay at the Aloft since the opening of this location. I "upgraded" to a room with a balcony, so we can enjoy the morning /evening views for my partners birthday . Unfortunately , the balcony was directly over the garbage dumpster. we couldn't even open the door for a breeze much less sit on the balcony- due to the overwhelming stench of the garbage , along side the neighboring guests gagging from smoking and vomiting all night long. We missed visiting Kyle at the wxyz bar, as the bar was closed. The upstairs bar/ staff was neither inviting nor professional. We usually have very good service and a fabulous stay, unfortunately, it was quite the opposite on this trip.
