Friendly staff and good value for the room having a mini kitchen
Positives:
Bed and bedding were comfortable and the location was convenient.
Negatives:
No ice-maker at this property. No trays for making ice and no kitchen utensils, although we were told if we need anything, just ask. No screens on the windows, fire alarm was hanging by its wires, lens cover missing on kitchen light, and the room stunk.
Positives:
The front desk clerk was phenomenal. He was extremely friendly and worked his behind off. Even late in the evening, he was extremely busy with many guests having just about every request you could imagine. He stayed very friendly and patient the entire time.
Negatives:
It was posted very clearly that there was no smoking or vaping near entrances or windows. Someone clearly didn't care and our entire hallway reeked, and I'm a smoker. It smelled like musty Marijuana. It was so bad that I overheard another guest in our hallway tell the front desk clerk that it was so strong near and in her room that she couldn't breathe. The hotel was sold out, so she couldn't change rooms and ended up leaving the hotel all-together. The smell cleared by morning, so it was clearly a current guest. Once the smell cleared, the hotel did appear fairly clean, but it needed some major upkeep. The room did seem clean on initial inspection, but there were dings/holes in the walls, a lot of peeling paint on the walls and doors, and a weird pinkish red mildew in the tub/shower. Also, there was several times throughout our stay that I tried to reach the front desk either by phone or in person and I was unable to reach anyone. They were obviously very busy. It did not appear that the staff was lazy or slacking off, just busy, but it would have been nice if they had a portable phone they could've taken with them around the property so other guests could get ahold of someone if they needed to.

Obviously neglected, but wouldn't avoid it
Positives:
Location was good for our one night. Breakfast was not bad, grab and go items, coffee and oatmeal.
Negatives:
The room was dirty. There was something sticky all over the kitchen counter. We spilled some water and when we cleaned it up the towel was black. They either had not mopped or they mopped with dirty water and mop. The carpet was dirty and stained.

We have stayed in other , Extended Stays and they have been good, but we would never stay here again
Positives:
The staff was great.
Negatives:
The room was dirty, even though the smell was overwhelming of cleaning products. The room had patched walls but no paint to finish them. The fridge looked like it was picked up on the side of the road. The neighbors were so loud we could hear them until they went to sleep at 3am. Husband slept with a gun beside him. The breakfast was a grad and go and there was no coffee. So don't expect to get a hot breakfast. I wish I look pictures of everything but didn't even think about at the time.

Positives:
Location
Negatives:
Bathtub was dirty, no phone in the room, the lock on the door was broke, the beds were uncomfortable, elevator was out of order and the carpet was filty. I could not sleep in that room. I had to check out and go somewhere else.
Negatives:
Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable
Review
Good
Positives:
Actual room was fine; staff were friendly.
Negatives:
Access in and out was terrible due to blocked exit door at our end of motel--hugely complicated unloading/loading and pet access. We had stayed here previous year and the landscaping had really worsened--many places down to bare dirt.
Review
Poor
Positives:
Nothing
Negatives:
Large groups of people gathered and drinking alcohol in the parking lot, elevator wasnt working- first front desk clerk said it wasnt working - later he turned it back on after complaint and said it was fine. Appliances were old and rusty, bed skirt stained, windows open upon arrival- bad smell in facility and room, overall dingy appearance, carpet not swept well with debris in corners including a pill. Scratch marks on door at safety lock.

I did not feel safe both in regard to hygiene and personal safety.
