I paid for a double suite and got a king suite. No one told me at the front desk when checking in or did I receive an email before that. I paid the same amount for the king suite as I would for a double suite! I had reserve my room at the beginning of the month so there was plenty of time to let me know. Very disappointed and hotel was dirty, not due to the renovations, but just unclean. My family will not be staying there ever again. Very unprofessional. Pool was nasty as well

The property is going over a total remodel and people need to be aware of this. I rank this a two out of ten because the staff and breakfast were both good. Otherwise I would give it a zero. The Hilton corporation should close this down while the remodel is taking place. This company will not offer house keeping daily unless you ask for it. The pandemic is over and companies like this should not use this as an excuse to not clean rooms. This managers reception means you have a choice of Bud Or Bud Light, cheap wine or fraternity punch. The bartender could not make a simple Manhattan drink. There was a charge for parking even though most of the parking lot is closed to repairs. This once great hotel looks like a war zone due to most of it being sectioned off for remodel. I too fault booking for not being aware of this and telling people up front about the above. The cost was too high for the condition of the hotel.
