The hamburger place across the parking lot is worth a visit

Very old facility, in need of major updates. Clean but the staff can only do so much with old rooms and appliances. Loose and worn out toilet seat. Mattress was fine. The bed has thin decorative steel panels around the bottom, I am not sure the purpose, when you whack it with a foot getting on or off the mattress it emits a startlingly loud boom - very weird and unnerving. Dim and uneven lighting. Right next to two very busy urban arterial streets. Constant loud traffic, loud trucks and street racers with rice can mufflers. It was noisy enough in my room (with a broken window pane) that I worn earplugs all night and I slept adequately. Not a secure location to park your vehicle, there was a homeless guy at the store next door who was loudly talking to his invisible friend. The continental breakfast was a joke, two kinds of cereal (Fruit Loops - really?), an automatic no touch pancake maker, a sad assortment of pre-sliced bread of various flavors and a toaster. I passed. If there had been fresh pastries, it would have been OK.

Homeless people X 2 approached us upon arrival asking for money .
Staff not very friendly
Room number was mixed up at the desk and someone tried to enter our room at 9:00 pm
People leaving clothes in washer for 3 hours and we had to wait until 10 pm to wash our clothes prior to leaving the next day. Property did not feel safe and staff not welcoming to guests
