The motel was in the middle of a remodel, which I understand but that was not disclosed when I reserved. I wish it would have been. The pool was closed and everything was a mess. Also the recliner in our room had several stains on it. room 101

The hotel was under renovation, there was no pool, no spa, no public bathroom in the central area so all of our team had to leave the meeting area and use my room should the need come up. The construction began as early as 6:15 am.

We love the Wednesday night reception with soup and salad etc. No wine or beer this time. The staff is excellent, every time. Its a walkable property and quiet.
Negatives:
We had constant problems with the key entry system, and had to have maintenance come. This is an ongoing problem for them. Electrical shorting? or Wifi problem? It could affect security. They charged us $84 for our dog to stay 1-4 nights, which was not disclosed anywhere on website. Hallways were dirty with trash cans full and debris on carpet, they should get a large robot or riding vacuum. Or hire more staff. It was easy to get lost, no directory posted, stairways were NOT labeled. One staircase has a solid unmarked door. Fire Evacuation hazard.

What a fabulous hotel and pet friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and sitting area in the lobby. The salt water pool was great, the grandkids enjoyed visiting us for a swim. The room had a separate area with a comfortable sofa and chair and TV. The kitchen was very nice and well stocked with toaster, dishes, cookware and full size refrigerator. We stayed 4 nights and will definitely stay again.
