This is the place to stay in Newport, OR. It's close to all Newport attractions. Hunter, the general manager, exceeded my expectations! We had a problem with the mattresses in our double queen room. Not only did he move us to another bigger room, but he also comped us with another night's stay. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with quite a few choices for hot and cold breakfasts. When returning from our day's festivities, we were greeted in the lobby with iced lemon water, hot coffee, and warm chocolate chip cookies. Outstanding job, La Quinta! We will be returning!
Negatives:
The pool area was very noisy. A couple of unsupervised children were causing quite a ruckus.

great pool vegan salt water nice breakfast buffet my four children had a very nice stay there. Room was super clean and very nice. Overall a great stay. We stayed there to go to the Newport Aquarium which is a few blocks away.

Cody welcomed us with fresh cookies. They were delicious. Lynn did an excellent job at the breakfast. She is a hard worker. She is very friendly with the guests. The whole staff was great.
