This Red Lion was not...
Positives:
The staff that was working the front desk was very helpful with finding out a number to call to cancel my two reservations since I was unable to afford the extra $300 deposit, $150 deposit for each room, I did not know about. They also approved one out of two cancelations, just waiting for the second one to be approved.
Negatives:
I didn't like that there was nothing said about a deposit until I went to go check in, then one out of two rooms I have gotten my money back, still haven't received the money for the second room I had reserved for. I am still waiting to get the rest of the money so I can pay a friend back since they are the one who needed the second room.

The price was great. The beds were comfortable
Negatives:
The room was very dirty. The bathroom still had dirty soap on the walls. The floors were not swept. There were hair on the pillows ..the TV was very hard to manage the microwave plate didn't fit. Towels has stains on them..the nightstand was to cluttered. The plug into the wall was not safe to me. Every time the bed move it knocked the power out. (Mind you a child was sleeping on this bed or sitting on it)

Positives:
This hotel is located in a very congested area of hotels and restaurants near an interstate entrance. Rooms are very sterile and have tile floor, no carpet. The sink area is small, bathroom is tiny. Room was clean, but spartan. Staff was friendly.
Negatives:
Everything here is adequate, but tired with no real effort to be attractive. It provides a place to sleep that is clean, but you won't remember it as a great night's stay. The fridge is very small.

Decent hotel, and has been upgraded more recently. Cleanliness was good and would stay again, but not my first choice.
Negatives:
Did not use fitted sheets, which in and of itself isn't bad, they were too small for the bed and by morning, we were sleeping on the mattress pad, as they would not stay tucked in. We had two tiny, tiny very thin old bath towels, which did not even completely wrap around me, and I'm not big person. Breakfast was very typical, and using the off brand labels, and processed foods, some of which are just not of decent quality . It wasn't horrible, just not appetizing. They just need to quit skimping on the details.

There was no coffee pot in the room, and the huge rodent at the door trying to get into the building was disturbing. No freezer in the mini fridge. Tiny towels. I paid over 400 for 3 nights stay, and it was not as great as it could have been.
