I booked thru Booking .com & daughter-in law booked thru Expedia. Her charge for 2 queens for 4 people was 141.50. My charge for 2 queens for 2 people was 175.50. Desk clerk wouldnt lower my price because I booked by mobile & said couldnt change price. I will use Expedia from now on.

Breakfast area is poorly designed. It is in the front reception lobby. No individual tables. Caused the automatic doors to open every time a person was close to get juice, etc. the coffee pots were poorly maintained and usually only one of the two regular coffee pots was empty, and at times, both pots were empty. Breakfast was minimal. The weather was very hot and both ice machines were not working and the hotel did not provide alternative (like a cooler of ice from bags of ice, for example). The staffing was friendly and helpful but the staffing level was inadequate; the receptionist had to take care of the breakfast, laundry and other issues. Often the front desk was unoccupied.

Complimentary breakfast and swimming pool were nice. I liked the wood fo- flooring in the rooms. It was nice to be able to check out at 11:30am. The lady that checked me in was very friendly as was the one that checked me out.

There was hairs in the shower and grime in all the corners of the room. One bed had a fitted sheet and top sheet while the other had two top sheets and made for a mess to sleep in. There was no glass plate in the microwave. Housekeeping was knocking at the door at 10am . It would be nice if they waited till the guest checked out first. There's a big gap under the room door that the light from the hallway shines in at night. The Ice machine was 2 doors down and made a horrible clunking noise all night long. I was really surprised that a Red Lion was this dilapidated. My previous opinion of Red Lion is ritzy and pristine. There was a bandaid on the floor in the pool area and the hot tub was near to overflowing. Looks like there are a few things to work on.
