The location is wonderful and the view from certain rooms is beautiful. It's a great place to have your pet with you.
Negatives:
It's so sad that the facilities are so run down. Unfortunately, our room had a view of the empty and deserted pool and hot tub. The plastic curtain around the ice machine was not a welcoming sight when entering the hallway. The actual room was ok, but the whole property could be something special with some updates and care. It looks like there are some financial difficulties because the huge restaurant is closed and everything needs some TLC.

Beautiful elegant property in a great location. Nice and clean but dated. Kind of cries out for a major brand chain to come in, update, re-open the restaurant, and promote. Hope it works out that way.

It was easy to get to. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Beyond the desk workers the whole hotel acts like it stopped caring about itself several years ago. Beyond the dated feel, the grounds were poorly kept, there was no lounge or restaurant operating, the pool/spa was closed for the season (even though this is mid may and warm weather). Its like this place was the abandoned resort from "The Shining"
