The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The cookies and coffee were good. We really liked the location - we were able to do a lot by walking or taking public transportation.
Negatives:
One of the towel hangers in the bathroom was coming off the wall. There was parking, but it was very hard to get out of parking spots because they are tightly slanted with nowhere to turn around.

The location was excellent for events at Providence Park, it’s literally around the corner! The front desk staff was so nice and friendly check in was a breeze. Free parking! Yes it’s an older property but our room was clean and comfortable,we felt safe and it fit our needs perfectly, it’s an excellent location and was a great value.
Negatives:
Everything was pretty good for what we needed it for, if I had to be picky I’d say parking was a bit tight in a few areas but we managed.

Positives:
Very good value for the location - walking distance to trendy shops and restaurants on 21st and 23rd Streets and big grocery stores on Burnside. Located on a quiet street, parking lot is well-lit and there is no extra charge to park. Room was in good condition. Hot beverages available all day, with apples and cookies in the mornings.

The 'motel' rooms are across the street from the reception area. No microwave in room.

Great value for central Portland
Positives:
I knew the location and was happy to find a budget-friendly hotel there. Perfect home base for all the places I needed to be over the weekend. Great for wandering on foot too.
Negatives:
It wasn't clear to me that there are 2 buildings and check-in was not in the building I recognized from the listing. So when we arrived late at night, it was frustrating to have to look all around, eventually call and find out I had to go across the street. (My fault for unloading the car already!)

I would stay here again,...
Positives:
1)We stayed in the king Suite (506) and it was pretty perfect! Felt very homey and was exactly what we needed. I wish we had more time to really get use of everything it had to offer.
2) The bathroom was cute and felt more cozy than just a hotel room. The soaps/Shampoo were good quality and I didn't have that dry feeling after using any of it. I appreciated that for sure!
3) They left us some OJ, Coffee, Oatmeal, water bottles and some slippers which was a nice little bonus!
4) Close to everything you need really! It looked further on the map but actually driving it made me realize how close everything really was. 24 hr taco bell and McDonald's up the street and Fred Meyers is within walking distance too if you get the late night munchies or need anything! They do provide some pots and pans for you to use which I really like! Wish we were staying longer to utilize the kitchen area.
5) They have coffee and water in lobby 24/7 which was great and cookies in the morning but by the time we checked out they were all gone but one so that was a bummer because they were so good and neither of us wanted to share it lol.
Negatives:
1) The parking is extremely limited and TIGHT. We have a chevy avalanche and it was a squeeze. We took lyft to our event and back and used doordash so it didn't bother us to stay put once parked but we did hear cars getting "tapped" in the lot so it made us nervous.
2) Bring a fan if you get hot at night! The bedroom doesn't have AC but we always bring a little fan so we set it on the kitchen table facing the room and it was actually super cold we just had to sleep with the door open to get air. Not a biggie but if you like the door shut at night, then it may be an issue.
3) Bathroom is RIGHT next to the bed and the sliding door is pretty see through (like frosted glass effect) so you do get a silhouette of whoever is using it and not a lot of privacy if you're not with someone you're comfortable with. Door also wouldn't stay shut so again with being comfortable lol.
4) Wifi wasn't working for us. If we connected service was actually slower and some of my apps wouldn't even function while connected. Maybe just a bad service day.
