Extended Stay America Suites - Portland - Tigard

Negatives: When We reached registration area, it was smell very strong. We checked in and went to a room, everything was so bad, hairs on the bed, dusts everywhere on the table, tv and chairs. no towels. We came back and explained the guy on registration. He suggested if we don't like cancel it. As he said, we cancel and booked another hotel which took us 2 more hours. It ruined all of our night. It is our worst experience in my life.

Negatives: This place is basically a homeless shelter thanks to the vouchers provided by Portland. No conveniences in room like a coffeemaker or plates or napkins.Breakfast was a granola bar or oatmeal packet. Front desk person was always out smoking. Room was dirty. Found a used feminine product in the wastebasket.

Negatives: Long walk to lobby. Bot a good breakfast.

Negatives: The property is so dirty, during the night, the water from air conditioning/heater leaks to the floor bed room,and you cannot see it then. I fell and twisted my knee and heap on the left side because of the floor slippery. I reported to front desk Kathy, about the accident. I showed the other front desk guy the picture and video of water leaking on the my bed room floor and skin tear on my left knee. 11/5/23 at around 9:00 am

Negatives: Felt unsafe by the guests staying there.

Negatives: The size and selection was awesome

Negatives: There is no fan in the bathroom. The toilet

Negatives: The room was not up to par. Let the manager know what the issue was. Upstairs guest stomping at 5 am

Negatives: Floors were sticky, faucet in bathroom spayed everywhere, the was no stopper for the tub. Curtains were messed up. I requested the floor to be mopped and for a stopper for the tub. Neither were done.

Negatives: There was not enough staff on location. Only one or two people for three large buildings. There weren't any dishes available when we arrived. They were supposed to bring them by in an hour. Two hours later we went to pick them up at the lobby. The "sanitized" dishes had dried food on them. The second night we were there, we couldn't get someone to unclog our toilet. We left the next morning. We intended to spend 5 nights but only stayed 2. There were many design flaws in the layout. It was very awkward to flush the toilet. The control was on the top and there was a shelf less that 4 inches above. The kitchen sink was small and lacked a stopper for washing dishes. The lobby was a mess. The breakfast consisted of coffee and snacks. The place looks nice on the surface but I have stayed at older rougher looking places that were more enjoyable and better run.
