Check is was bad this time. It's usually super fast. The girl mentioned they just redid the desks so maybe that was a factor, but it was not smooth.

Train runs right behind the hotel. Breakfast buffet was not kept supplied at a reasonable amount. Back entrance was not secure. I left my key in my room and when I went to the front desk to get a key they did not make me verify my identity or that I was a guest. Heating/air conditioning unit was EXTREMELY noisy so we shut it off. I have stayed at multiple holiday inn express and this property did not begin to meet expectations.

I hate booking.com, got stuck using it. Not once have you ever booked a room correctly over the years Ive been stuck using you. Cost me money with no room, Ive had to file fraudulent charges on you. Ive even complained to the BBB. You suck, youre like a software virus.

nice breakfast when it happened; the staff that greeted us were very friendly
Negatives:
under renovation; looks like they used the cheapest contractor as there were lots of bad finishes in the rooms. worst thing was no one was at the desk Monday morning; breakfast area was dark; a housekeeper showed up and did her best to get things going but the front desk phone rang and rang and no one was there. the room cleanness spotty. we didn’t get a bathmat one day and no hand towels the next day.
