While I liked the size of the room, the arrangement of the bath is tricky with the toilet and shower in a really small space and the sink outside. Great location, fairly quiet and rather like little apartments, but the fireplace in the room, (never did figure out why that was there) and the front door having a large air gap meant cold air was always coming in. When the bathroom fan was on, (it's part of the light so can't switch it off) the cold air swept in. The heating controls were tricky and the heat shut off overnight making it drop to 60. The place wasn't all that clean with dirt/odd bits of things along the edges in the bath and kitchen and entry hall. Bed was comfy, but we could have used a heavier quilt as the heat was so tricky; either blasting or freezing. Nice kitchenette with a sponge and dish soap provided. Lighting throughout is rather stark and over bright or dim, like in the bathroom. Task lighting would help soften it and a brighter, soft white bulb in the shower area would help. The lights over the living room sofa/ TV are so glaring we couldn't keep them on. Internet went down the first night; we were so tired all we wanted to do was watch a movie. Cell signal is poor in the room and the area and with no Wifi it was a disappointment.
