>After a looooong drive, the evening check-in desk clerk was fantastic - friendly and efficient!
Negatives:
>There was a $100 'hold' for 'incidentals' (damages, charges) at the hotel; there were NO damages or charges, but they went ahead and charged my card anyway.
>When I saw the $100 charge on my online credit card statement, I immediately called. Without even looking up my account, the telephone receptionist said that this was just standard operating procedure and she was "90% sure" it would be refunded in 3-5 business days. Even when I asked again, she refused to look up my account. This sucks! You DON'T "charge everyone immediately then refund when you get around to it".

ridiculous $100. security deposit on a credit card or $200 cash security deposit. what if a traveler did not have the money to pay this sum. what then?????

the general proximity of the hotel to my workplace.
Negatives:
The roaches began to run that night, prompting me to pack my things, and move them to a safer space. The toilet is not anchored properly to the floor, and dances when you use it. The breakfast was not the best, the juices were watered down.

You can't bring breakfast to your room they make you eat it in the dining room. The rooms are outdated and pretty filthy. No one cleaned under those beds in a long time.
