The room, although clean, had an unpleasant smell. Perhaps it was from all the people in the rooms around me who were smoking pot. I couldn’t escape the smell, which makes me nauseous.

Since I’m trying to save money I liked the price. I also liked the breakfast. I liked that the Desk clerk was especially understanding and helpful when I had an issue. I’ve already stayed here twice, I will definitely be staying again.
Negatives:
The only thing That comes to mind was the smell in the hallways, some air fresheners would be awesome. The room did not smell, just the hallway.

Perfect location, clean room, and staff was very helpful and polite. They even wanted to help get breakfast to go ready for our 7 year old traveler who was too tired to want breakfast when we were leaving at 7:00 am.

Positives:
There was nothing about the property that I liked. It was dirty. There is water coming up from the floor under the vinyl flooring, there was hair in bath tub, hair on the toilet and the room itself was just terrible. Our safe once locked, would not open and it took them hours to get it to open. The manager personally put the contents of our safe into her personal safe until we returned from our day out. The hallways smelled like bad fish. The room was so damp that our clothes were actually wet when we went to repack our belongings.

On the positive side, customer service at the hotel was excellent. The manager and representative at the front desk were extremely helpful and they deserve kudos for their hard work on our behalf. I don’t believe I will ever stay at a comfort Inn again due to my experience , but I must say that the front desk was wonderful.

I liked that my room has the fridge and other facilities that I required during my stay. It was close to shops and restaurants in the area and was a short trip away from Hersheys Theme Park.

I wish it had more breakfast options but I did like a few things that they provided before checking out.

it's a shame the establishment is not taken care of better. 'Comfort Inn' is not the right name at all! The paint job is dirty brown and the carpet extremely old, stained and smelly. When we arrived the front desk clerk was in a 'nasty' distasteful conversation on the phone with a 'caller'. The person who tried to assist us actually said they were 'having a lot of problems and 'complaints' from customer - oops that should have been our hint - to high tale it out of there!. here's what happened to my family..
1. My daughter and her son were 'forced' to stay in a room filled with 'gas odor' they slept with the door open for air.
the desk clerk actually came up to the room and 'agreed' the gas odor was strong.
2. The same room toilet flooded over and and the bathroom was not 'usable'. No one came to help with the mess
my daughter and her son had to go to my other daughter's room to shower and clean.
3. My other daughter and her husband (2nd bed) was filthy with stains and 'long hair' on the bed and in the bathtub

1. No one to assist the guests with the waffle machine and mixings. the mix tasted 'old' the place was messy and not that easy to operate. The staff disappeared and were not friendly. Not sure what was going on there. ;( - everyone was upset

It was nice enough to stay and we felt comfortable but it looked disheveled lots of missing paint bad smells, cracked mirror in bathroom. The microwave was broken. dirty stairways, dirty elevator. No where to put the soap or lotions that they give you but on the bathrom floor.

Very clean and friendly helpful staff. We had an issue with our rooms on the 1st night, we reported it to the staff, and they immediately assisted us and got us into a new room. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and stay here again when I'm back in the area!
