The manager on 11/24/24 around 3:30. I simply asked if I could pay with cash and just have my card on file. The front desk girl said I could pay with cash at checkout. She got the manager to see and that's when it got bad. She (the manager) came out attacking. I tried to explain and I wasn't very pleasant but when someone has the attitude she had, it was hard to stay calm. I said "this will be going on review." She got livid and said (with a condescending voice) "I would be glad to help you cancel your reservation and you can stay somewhere else. No hotels take cash anymore and they don't just hold your card on file. You can talk to my supervisor in the morning." I was like nah, I'll just write a review. She kept going after me, I finally said "lady I'm done talking to you. This will be going on a review." She got mad and kept going off on me. I walked out shaking, I was so appalled. My husband cancelled the reservation.
Oh and just so you know....I did find a better/cheaper hotel, who took cash and used my card for their files but didn't charge it!

Positives:
Breakfast was good for being included. Premade egg sandwiches and waffles were a hit for my daughter. The front desk staff was friendly and was able to answer my questions about local restaurants.
Negatives:
Unfortunately, there were many unsupervised children running around our floor. We were there for a soccer tournament and I certainly do not mind the fact that children were there as I had my own child there. However, I had to call the front desk twice, once each night during my stay, to let them know about the children running around knocking on everyone's door at 10:00 at night. The front desk witnessed the same children in the lobby yelling and screaming as the parents sat in the lobby and basically set up their own personal bar, as their children ran feral around the hotel. Not the hotel's fault, maybe setting limits for the parents to be parents and not allow their children to disrupt others who are paying to stay there as well.
