I have always chosen Embassy Suites for their comfort and quality — I’ve stayed many times in Boca Raton and West Palm Beach with excellent experiences. Unfortunately, my recent stay at the Embassy Suites near the airport in Philadelphia was completely different.
I was assigned to room 108 on the night of October 23–24, and around 4:00 a.m. I was awakened by the sound of a mouse scratching inside the wall. The noise continued, and I couldn’t sleep again. It was very distressing and far from the peaceful rest I expected.
Additionally, the bathtub was chipped and clogged, causing water to accumulate during the shower.
I reported the issue but never received a response from management. I truly hope the hotel takes this seriously and addresses both the hygiene and maintenance problems. This was my first disappointing experience with Embassy Suites, and I hope it will be my last.

Positives:
It is convenient to the airport and has a 24 hour shuttle. The breakfast is amazing. The rooms are spacious.
Negatives:
Everything is a little rundown and outdated. It needs some repair. It is overpriced for the condition of the hotel. There is nowhere nearby that you can eat if you don’t have a car and it’s expensive to park there. It is not up to Embassy suites standards, and other places.

Spending more money does not get you a better place to stay

It was clean. The bed was comfortable. Front desk was friendly.
Negatives:
Parking is $30. It was very loud. I was on the 1st floor. Kids running around, chasing each other until about midnight. I stumbled over some kid's croc in the hallway. They were playing wiffle ball in the lobby. No parents around. I said to the girl at the desk: "this place is chaos". She smiled and shrugged.
