Positives: Can’t believe this was an actual Hilton The attitude around the staff was depressing Elevators were not working. Towels and bedding was a challenge to ask for.

Positives: PPL w/dogs and smoking at entrance. The hotel interior was dirty. No parking on premise - far away. The rooms and hallways were dirty. There were ppl being housed there and it seemed more like an apt bldg rather than a hotel.
Negatives: The elevator was dirty and outdated - at least change the chrome or try to polish it. It was all scratched up. The hallways were dirty. There was trash falling out of the trash bins and on the floor. We told front desk and they said they didn't have cleaning crew at 7pm...what? The vents had huge dust balls and clogged up. We asked for the vent to be cleaned because my spouse has asthma, they offered us wipes or move us to another room. The ac didn't work. It was a 90 degree day with a warm room. The windows were extremely dirty meaning there was film on them and you could see that whoever had stayed had drawn on the windows. We had to ask for another room. They moved us next door to a smaller room at the Hilton which was very nice, nonetheless. However, I was charged twice for both hotels rather than the one night. Now, I'm left with dealing with the extra charge to be removed.

Positives: Let me tell you all about how good my experience was staying at this hotel ☺️ Not only was I a visitor from Chicago, but upon checking in, Tony (I believe was the hotel’s manager) accommodated me by allowing a late check in (2am to be exact) after my flight was delayed from leaving Chicago. Not only did she place a hold on the room so that it wouldn’t be sold, but she was so graceful and nice to talk to following checkout that morning. I would highly recommend visiting this hotel and working with Tony. The staff is very friendly, the rooms were very clean and spacious, and overall customer service was a 10/10. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to all my Chicago friends and family. Thanks again Tony!! This property was beyond my expectations! Great location, a view of the lake right outside your window, clean, updated, all facilities in tact and working, and THE STAFF (every staff member was more than helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us).
Negatives: What’s not to like? I’ve stayed in hotels and Airbnb’s around the world and I give this one my highest recommendation.

Positives: My stay overall was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and warming.
Negatives: I didn’t like that I had to park up the street but we didn’t have to pay so I guess it was OK. Breakfast could’ve been a little better, maybe more options for those who don’t eat pork. And my room did not get Wi-Fi. I called the office several times about this but at the end of the day nothing was done.
