We had a nice comfortable...
Positives:
I didn’t, has lost its class…we were last there 20 years ago, the shops were thriving downstairs, there was a mix up with our check in, which took 45 minutes to straight out. My 4 year old grandson lost his blanket in room 1529 in the bed close to window, and no one has found it yet! We called immediately about it when we realized it when we got back to NJ

Nice hotel. Near the city...
Positives:
it was clean
Negatives:
first and foremost I feel as though the advertising was false as a former employee of the sporting club. my wife and I planned a leisure trip . I wanted to show her all the affordable ammentities that came with a stay at the belvue hotel.we booked our room online and it showed all the normal ammentities shops, swimming pool, restaurant (s). There was mention of any renovations when we addressed the issue at the desk. we were brushed off more less we got the feeling that it is what it is and make out the beat way we can. ps and it appears my wife and I were the only ones smiling this bright and sunny weekend.this historical building with all its plush interior deserves more than that . I my self could do better. Mr and Mrs Takeesha Howell

unpleasant
Positives:
The architecture and decor
Negatives:
Staff was a little uppity. Told them my daughter was coming to join me but would not let her in. The directions for guests on how to enter at night not clear at all. Should be the first thing explained after checking in. Hallway carpets need serious replacement, old and dingy and stained. Rooms are large and great. The architectural details of the Hotel are beautiful.

If you love old world...
Positives:
I liked the old key lock doors in the room.
Negatives:
When booking it says breakfast included. When you arrive they tell you where the restaurant is and what time breakfast is so you assume it is included. Wrong, we got 1 buffet and 2 coffees cost almost $60.00.
Lets back up a little, when we arrived we came in the front door to a cracked and dirty floor only to to redirected to another room to check in. When we checked in the people in front of us were greeted with two bottles of water, hellos, etc.. Us, just names, method of payment and 2 cards. Never asked us if we were reward members, I had to ask where we should park, they never offered to get our bags, nothing.
No where does it say there is a fee for parking, the garage is attached to the building. But there is....$48.00....insane!!!!
We lug our stuff from the parking garage to the hotel, get on the elevator and it doesn't move. Whoops, they forgot to tell us you need to swipe your card to make the elevator move and they forgot to activate our cards.
Heading to the concert, never offer to call us an uber, information about the subway, nothing.
Get back from the concert and we are hungry. There are no brochures in the room where to order food, places to go, nothing. Called the front desk to ask about places to eat and was told to google it and door dash food. Ice machine didn't work and there was no remote for the tv.
There was no information anywhere. I have never been to a hotel without information about check out, hotel services, local store, etc. but there was nothing.

Very good
Positives:
It’s was nice. The robes in the room were pretty good. The shower was decent.
Negatives:
The room was too small, I booked a king room city view and it wasn’t what I expected or what showed on the photos. The mini fridge did not work and when we notified the front desk they told us someone would be up to help but no one showed up to fix it at all. The bathroom sink lacked water pressure.
