Positives:
Staff
Negatives:
Room was connected to the janitors closet. They had their radio blasting and were taking it felt like they were in our bed. This went on for 2 hours. Then an alarm clock went off in a room with no one in it next to ours. From 4am to 8am. Tv didn’t work, bathroom was tiny and towels had holes in them. No gift shop which is wild no vending machines.

Positives:
It was good but it wasn’t included as indicated when I booked. Instead it was “charged to my room.” The beds were comfy and we loved the view. Friendly staff.
Negatives:
We wanted to watch a streaming movie on TV and couldn’t. Didn’t love that our room had a door to an adjoining room. Someone left their half-drunk water bottle in the fridge when we got there. Found it difficult to get anyone on the phone to get information.

The pool and the view...
Positives:
The bed was very comfortable. It was lovely to have the nice bath. And it was great that the room got very dark with the curtains etc.
Negatives:
There was no outlet in the bathroom for the hair dryer. There was no place to put my clothes except on the floor. The was no central switch for the lights.
The cost of parking was absurd. $70 to park the car when the room was @$200. And a coffee in the coffee bar was $9. Crazy.

The hotel is very nice...
Positives:
Location
Negatives:
Everything was dirty or broken in the room. Very sticky/dirty floors, dirty sheets, curtains broken... Our luggage was lost and taken to a different room at check in.

The room served it's purpose....
Positives:
Great location, still a lovely building/lobby despite the problems.
Negatives:
Check-in was a disaster. We arrived early, but were told that our room would be ready shortly. We asked again in an hour and were once again told it would be ready shortly. It ended up taking more than 2 and a half hours (past normal check-in time), and two times waiting in a line that stretched halfway across the lobby. There was no explanation for their miscommunication/unexpected delay (I asked), no apology, nothing.
Also, the wallpaper was starting to peel in the hallway, with a visible pile of plaster dust on the floor, which remained for our entire (2 night) visit. There were other smaller signs of wear as well. Between the check-in logistics/service meltdown and the physical deterioration, it felt like a once-great hotel in decline.

A once-great hotel in decline
Positives:
This hotel used to be the Four Seasons and it still has the nice design and construction features expected in a mid 1980's Four Seasons hotel. It’s still being maintained reasonably well, so it still looks ok. Staff is really good and hotel was an excellent value the night I stayed there.
Negatives:
Nothing really. It’s not a Four Seasons, but for the price it’s a terrific place to stay.

Positives:
We liked the hotel, its cleanliness and breakfast, its location and private parking, but the parking could have been more affordable, they gave us a comfortable room with a very nice view, the staff we met was helpful, we spent quality time with my wife
Negatives:
However, when we went to Assembly Rooftop, we learned that staying at the hotel was not enough, the reservations were separate from the hotel and the reservations were full. I really wanted to see it but it was full all day, we couldn't go in, this disappointed me because I don't live in this city and I was curious. It would have made us happy if there was a special area for hotel residents, one of the reasons we stayed at the hotel was to sit there. Other than that, it was a nice experience, thank you

Very good
Positives:
This was our first time staying at The Logan in Philadelphia (as local Greater Philadelphia residents) and we truly enjoyed our stay at the property! The lobby was stunning and the employees at the front desk were very welcoming. Check-in took less than five minutes too. Our room had a nice view of the courtyard and was exceptionally clean. The hotel was accommodating to our needs and even sent up bar stools to our room when we needed them for a makeup and hair artist (we were in the city for our engagement party and I had a glam squad with me). We loved that checkout was set for noon (without having to add on additional hours for a late checkout) it really allowed us to relax the morning after such a big night!
The Urban Farmer restaurant attached to the hotel is delicious! Be prepared to wait (30+ min) on the weekends if you don't put your name in ahead of time or make a reservation as it's also open to the public.
Negatives:
There were no bathrobes in the room, the bath towels were stiff and crunchy, and there was no blanket or extra bedding for the bed (just the sheet & a lightweight duvet). Not deal breakers, but at this price point those are average things to expect as part of the in-room amenities for your comfort during your stay.
The only thing in our room that I would consider "dirty" was the Keurig - it looked as if no one had used it in months. It had water stains and coffee grounds splattered about. Since it appeared unclean we did not utilize it but it would have been great to have "free" coffee in the room before heading down to explore the city. We've noticed this issue at multiple "4-star" and "5-star" hotels in recent years. It would be so appreciated if the staff kept up better with the physical machines so they were usable for the guests. No one wants to drink coffee or tea from a dirty machine.
We didn't end up using the valet parking as the price was a bit absurd ($69 per car, yikes!!). There was a self-parking garage just behind the hotel that offered a much better rate ($50 for the night) and we were able to load/unload right by the front doors of the hotel prior to moving the car to the lot.
