Positives: facility was lovely, staff was courteous and helpful, seemed to like their jobs- unusual for today’s hotel staff.
Negatives: towels were scratchy and light, seems like their sharing supplies and laundry with Marriott facilities across the board. usually bedding and toweling is finer in hotels in this price range.
Positives: Building is lovely and we were very impressed with the friendliness of staff. Beds were wonderful. Valet parking went very smoothly.
Negatives: The ice machine on our floor (20th) did not work and we tried to call housekeeping for some ice - had problem getting the phone to work, but finally got an operator who said she would send some ice. We waited approximately 45 minutes with no ice arrival - finally called to cancel the request and operator seemed surprised that it had not been delivered.
