Positives: The staff was amazing and helped us with everything we needed. Room comfortable and loved the dog-friendly atmosphere.

Negatives: We've been to the restaurant many times in the past but the current menu/chef is not flexible and not very vegetarian-friendly. We'll definitely stay at the hotel again but not eat at the restaurant.

Positives: We were in town on Easter to visit our daughter who attends the University of Pittsburgh. The hotel is trendy and gorgeously decorated. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We were in walking distance to many restaurants and the restaurant and bar at the hotel was very fun and delicious. They have a free happy hour every night which was a lot of fun! We loved this hotel!

Positives: The staff showed me the true definition of hospitality. They were friendly and helpful, and the front desk upgraded my room just because! This was so refreshing because the standards for service and hospitality have plummeted since the pandemic in most big box hotels and resorts, but not at the Kimpton Monoco! From the front desk to the valet, to housekeeping and the restaurant. Just really, really classy. I will be back!

Negatives: Not their fault at all, but the construction in front of the taxi pick up area.
