Hampton Inn Reading/Wyomissing

Negatives: I had to plunge the toilet after every flush! Holiday staff at time of our check in - did not know where plunger was. Had to wait until shift change to Get said plunger. Sofa bedding was torn. PS- Hate room layout re: barn door bathroom.

Negatives: breakfast- items ran out early and were not refilled seating non breakfast area in need of repair

Negatives: When arriving there was an issue with check in and Tammy was overly rude about it. Took over 30 minutes to. Check in because the person at the desk had no idea what she was doing which she was new so no complaint to her at all but when she called Tammy for help Tammy was rude to me and wanted another card to charge when the room was already paid for and when I got upset she had the audacity to tell the girl at the desk to cancel my room because I was irate. I requested house keeping in the room for fresh sheets and towels and for my bathroom to be cleaned. I got fresh towels that was it. My toilet was used and not flushed, not thrilled at all when arriving back to my room and there is poop in my toilet and something sticky all over the counter. The bed was not even touched, a bottle of Gucci built perfume was taken off the table in my room so someone helped themselves to my belongings as well. 600 dollars for a 3 night stay and I am not happy at all. I fully plan to contact Hilton corporate to file a massive complaint

Negatives: Wish the lobby was more for people gathering to hang out. We traveled with friends. It would have been nice to hang out together down there. I didn’t see any lounge.

Negatives: ever other day maid service

Negatives: Breakfast was just ok, eggs were probably powdered, sausage patty cooked but not brown. Cold muffin was the saving grace. We’ve had much better at other Hampton inn location.

Negatives: I brought two children and the pool was out of order all weekend.

Negatives: Pool was out of order the entire stay & we didn’t find out until we got there. Woulda went to a different hotel if they had advised us of the issue. Food ran out pretty quickly in the mornings

Negatives: The room seemed to have some age on it. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper, the paint around the edges at the roof line looked like it was primed for painting and super gross, the toilet lid was open when we arrived. When I pushed it down to close it it was stained with pee or some other bodily fluid. The house keeper totally missed it and it grossed me out to that I had touched it to lower it and then cleaned it myself.

Negatives: Pool was closed and shower was cold

Negatives: Rooms were a little small.
