Positives:
The room was larger than expected. The entire facility was very clean. The staff was very polite and friendly. The employees who worked in the breakfast area always made sure that everything was full and warm. I wish I had gotten the name of the employee who worked on Monday (9/16/24) and Friday (9/20/24) in the breakfast area. She was fantastic!
The outside of the hotel wasn't doing the inside any justice. The outside was a little plain/mute.
I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Negatives:
If I had to say there was something I didn't like, it was the toasters in the breakfast area. They took forever to toast anything. However, it's understandable when you have so many people coming and going each morning and using them incorrectly and correctly.

Great easy location with minutes to downtown Newport via back roads. Pool fantastic, great hot breakfast, staff very helpful and friendly, and very good location to walk the dog too in the back park.

The setup of the room was excellent, comfortable & very clean. We were fortunate to have a large outdoor space with a lovely tree & picnic table. The breakfast & dining area was very nice. The hotel is not too far from Newport center & other sites.
Negatives:
I personally would have liked hot oatmeal, plain non-fat yogurt, & some fresh seasonal fruits included in the breakfast.

The hotel is pleasant enough. The only elevator is a VERY slow freight elevator. Not a big deal as the hotel is just two stories but we had coolers, etc.
Negatives:
Way too expensive for what it is. In line with other prices but $400 for one night at a motel too far to walk to waterfront? Next time I'll stay further away for less
