The handicapped lifts for the pool area are much appreciated.
Negatives:
The 'accessible' rooms are not easily navigated by a wheelchair user due to an odd layout and poor furniture choices. The website indicates roll-in showers are available and despite a request for an accessible room, we did not have one. The provided shower chair was assembled incorrectly, making it unsafe to use. The bed was also much too high for a wheelchair user to self-transfer. The sofa bed was also unusable due to sharp metal framing all around the edge. My mother had to sleep in a tiny armchair. Very unhappy with this stay and very surprised as I have stayed at many Marriotts with much better accessibility features.
