The room and hallway smelled overwhelmingly like smoke. I didn’t feel very safe, there was a hole in our door that people could see through if they wanted to. The room appeared clean but looking closer there was wax melted on the floor and stray hairs in the bathroom, in addition to dirt on the bed.

I did not like anything about this property.

I traveled 4 hours from NC and arrived at this location a little after 12 AM. Upon arrival, the front desk associate was not welcoming and half asleep, the location was very concerning, the safety was concerning as a homeless person was lounging outside of the entry door asking to cash app me money to buy soap from me, very poor customer service and lack of communication in regards to the reservation being canceled. I arrived and the associate stated they had no more rooms available and did not accept one night stays (which is not advertised anywhere on Booking or their home website and I also was not notified of any of this information). I asked the associate to cancel my reservation in their system before leaving so I would not be charged the following day and I was indeed still charged the full amount for the room. The associate I spoke with the next day was very helpful with processing a refund for me but was not remorseful at all or apologetic of the situation.
