I asked for first floor long after my reservation. They got it for me. The staff was not only helpful they were friendly. And the location was even better than I remembered. Low price/best value on my trip north.

the bed was really comfortable. having the desk was nice as well.

when we got there to our room I walked to the store behind the hotel. as I was walking up cops & a ems pulled up. the store was apparently closed. customers were saying something about a “body”. as we were checking in a lot of noise was coming from the store. we can handle noise but hearing that there was potentially a “body” that close to where we were staying, made it a little scary. it made it a little more scary that when anyone seemed to walk past our room the door sounded as if it was being played with because of the play that happens with the door is closed.

Bed was comfortable. Poor smell and unacceptable cleanliness two nigjts in a row. Left a voicemail for the General Manager and haven't heard back from anyone.

The smell in the room was not pleasant. Underneath the bed had food and dirty cups not
cleaned up. Pictures were emailed to the General Manager and front desk Manager.
