Parking fee is ridiculous and $16+Breakfast fee for powdered eggs and greasy bacon is not something I will be doing again. Seems a bit too much for these items considering other hotels have similar breakfasts and no Parking fee. Also, the Pillows looked like they havent been cleaned in Many Many nights. Pillow protectors, Not the exterior pillowcase, but a layer under the case was yellow dingy. Kind of gross. Where was the Restaurant? it was listed on website but I didnt see it anywhere. No signs

Hurricane conditions led to power outages; staff customer service unacceptable. I inquired about food/availability, power restoration, or relocation. My food inquiry resulted in a “Google it” response. We had not eaten all day. Without available info/power, we had no idea what our next steps should be or how to obtain food. As a result, (9/27/24 afternoon) we felt we needed to relocate to secure food. When we requested adjustment to our bill, we were told no. There was a young gentleman that appeared sympathetic to our plight.

The breakfast is always good and the room is pretty clean for an outdated room.

There are a few things I did not like about this trip. I only stayed here because of the Florida hurricane and I had business. Previous stays at this hotel there were problems. It was the only hotel I could get this time. My toilet went down the first evening and was not fixed until the third day. Needless to say I was upset. I reported this to the front desk twice and called twice and it was only when I spoke with the manager the 5th contact, Antoine that it was immediately fixed. The workers at the front desk that I reported it to obviously did not report it as nothing was done. Communication at the front desk has never been good. You have to let the front desk know if you want a room refresher while there. I always ask that towels be refreshed as well as garbage emptied. Never has it been done. I have stayed 3-4 times at this hotel. I wont stay again unless I have too. The last stay there was what appeared to be dried blood on the comforter and I couldn't get them to replace that comforter until the last day. It was on the floor and I had no warm comforter at night. This stay I ordered a chicken sandwich at the little bar restaurant they have. I got back to my room with dinner, took a bit and spit it out it was a raw burger. I was upset. I went back and they gave me the chicken. I ate a few bites but took a look and felt it was a little iffy not sure if it was entirely done. I ate the fries but I felt like I wasted the $20. I spent on this. The rooms need updating and the gym is downstairs to the back, very dark and I don't feel safe going down there. This hotel has gone down hill for sure. They charged me 16.20 @ for 3 days breakfast which is included with my room. The person at the front desk said she could not credit it someone else would have too then she turned around and said she had worked there for years.
