Positives:
pet friendly. I appreciate the mattress being fully covered by a protective cover, less chance for bed bugs. the staff was okay. we had some issues with being over charged but they fixed that when we checked out.
Negatives:
it’s outdated and needs major repair work. toilet leaked, the tub and faucets are very old and rusting. the walls could use fresh paint and the trim around the floor could be replaced. the place is just old and needs a total refurb. Staff could be more helpful when trying to find lost and found. I lost a pair of car keys and didn’t realize it until after we checked out and left the island. I called the hotel and the girl at the front desk looked in lost and found, said most of the housekeepers are good about returning most lost item but couldn’t guarantee they would be handed in. I asked the staff member if she could have someone check the room for the keys, and she said she couldn’t. don’t know why unless someone was checked into the room, but that could have been explained. it sounded like she just didn’t want to go look.

poop on wall behind bathroom door. green mildew/mold in sink faucet handle where you remove plastic cover to tighten screw down for faucet to work. air condition unit (outside room) security frame and second mess screen pulled away as if some had tried to get into room
