La Quinta is close enough to attractions and the beach. It is a well maintained, clean, safe place to stay.
Negatives:
Post sign near elevator to politely remind guests to be considerate of others who may be sleeping behind the doors they are passing and to use quiet voices. This is a common problem.

When I got to my room the bathroom was dirty and had feces on the toilet. Ask the front desk to send someone up to clean it and was told that there no cleaning stall but I can come down to the front desk and get whips to clean the toilet my self.
Positives:
I encountered the most rudest staff. I literally paid for the entire hotel stay and showed Bonnie and Lindsey at the front desk. They gaslit and stated that they didn't receive the payment even after I called my bank and my bank notified them that the charges went through. Bonnie came over to me and said I could not stay until I double paid again.

The Wi-Fi was very poor. I had to use my cell phone hotspot to connect my Amazon fire stick. Also the tv volume was restricted to the max of 18. Doesn’t go no higher. I don’t know if it was just that room.

Location was the only positive.
Negatives:
Run down hotel. Walls, doors, and framing painted over instead of patched and dingy from too long since the last painting. No housekeeping available, yet no discount for getting our own towels and taking our own garbage out. So noisey! You could hear EVERY converstaion in the halls or next door to you that were happening at normal volume - word for word! Early risers and those late to bed kept us from getting a good night's sleep. And paying an extra $5 a day to park in their dirty, run down parking lot with no security?? Would not recommend.
