Extended Stay America Suites - Nashville - Brentwood

Negatives: When we arrived, the gentleman checking us in said he did not have a room available. He said they usually have a room blocked off for situations like ours, and said not to worry. He went to make sure the rooms were available to use, and when he returned he was carrying an Ozone generator which I thought was very odd. He proceeded to tell me that the Ozone generator was used in the room to get rid of lingering smells. We were very concerned at this point, but tried to stay positive since we were 4 hours away from home and I knew rooms were very limited due to a big concert being in town. After looking into it, he said there were 2 rooms available but that the microwave didn’t work and one of the cabinet door facings were missing in one of the rooms. The other he said was fine. He led us downstairs to look at each room and decide which one we wanted. There was no elevator, only a stuffy, and smelly stairwell leading to the lower level. The hallway was dim lit and smelled awful. He took us down to the first room which was all the way at the very end of the creepy hallway, and there was an awful smell. So he took us to the next room which was at the complete opposite end of the hallway, and it still smelled awful but not quite as bad as the first. We told him the second room would be okay we literally just needed somewhere to freshen up and then sleep for the night, and be leaving early the next morning. We got our room key, placed our belongings in the room, freshened up and left for the concert. My daughter and her cousin sprayed lots of perfume to try to cover up the smell. They were both very freaked out by being in what felt like a basement at the end of a dark hallway in an extremely foul smelling room. I won’t lie, I felt quite uncomfortable too. After we returned from the concert it was late and I was very tired. We walked into the room and the smell was worse than before. We packed up and hit the road.

Negatives: Very dirty. Blood stains on the sheets. Very nasty and will never stay there again!
