Positives:
The location was perfect for our trip from Florida to Michigan. It is a short walk to Waffle House. Cleveland TN offered more than I thought it would Red Roof Inn was clean and decorated well and I liked the fridge and microwave and the offer of coffee in the room. Parking was good. The price was incredibly small!
Negatives:
I can tell this Red Roof Inn is under construction (dumpster in the back) and perhaps the next time we stay it will improve. However, the beds were very squeaky ... like you can hear every bed in the hotel squeaking. Thankfully, we put the fan on constant and that drowned out the squeaks and the I-75 noise. Our room had electrical issues (no light turned on when we entered the room and we had to figure that out). The bathroom sink did not have a drain plug and the counter looked as though it was falling off the wall. I was bummed the pool was closed.
