Positives: Loved the location. Easy access on the mountain top. And the authentic wooden lodge lobby was extra cozy with a fire burning in the giant stone fireplace. The woman at the front desk was very friendly, and recommended a wonderful Italian restaurant nearby for dinner. The view from my room in the morning was beautiful over the creek and cabins behind the lodge. Look forward to staying here again someday!

Positives: The location to our family in area was great. 35 min to Chattanooga where we went to Rock city to see the lights, 8 minutes to the cross at Sewanee. Loved the balcony off the back rooms, open view of pool, bands, big field and it was worth the price. Oh and allowing your fur child to stay without a HUGE deposit is 100% the reason we will be back!!
Negatives: I was fine with the “character” of an older hotel/motel that has been around a long time. Some people don’t care for the peeling wall paper or chipped paint, but it’s again just a place to sleep. The hardwood floors definitely need a good cleaning though. My feet were very dirty after a shower but the sink, tub, counters were clean (I brought cleaning supplies just in case bc of other reviews)
