The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. I would say a very average hotel, but perfect on a budget knowing you are in a good and clean place.

Location is convenient. However, it is not a very hygienic place especially for children. There are roaches and other insects roaming the inside of the hotel rooms.
Negatives:
Baymont by Wyndham Abilene was not up to the standards that they are advertising. The room we checked into, 121 to be specific, had a moldy damp smell, roaches and beetles roaming around the walls and floor. Also, the bathroom doorknob came off from the inside and my child was crying unable to get out. Staff allowed us to check room 125 but the roach infestation was worse. Staff is helpful but their rooms need immediate attention.

Parking was not very good one side literally was for handicap parking and they were basically empty the whole weekend. TVs are out dated and the HDMI ports were all broken.

Had a wonderful family trip staying here. Kids loved the pool, which I gotta say was really well maintained. Double beds were spacious perfect for a family of four. Staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was a big hit. It's a great spot for night stay and pool enjoyment.
