La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin University Area

Negatives: Don’t stay here, in my room, the bathroom door was hanging on by 1 hinge, you could tell someone had busted down the door bc there were screws holding down the front door panel, the external door lock had been repaired a few times. I didn’t have any of the items usually found in hotel rooms, like Kleenex, cups, ice bucket. They were also doing repairs to the outer parts of the building, like spray painting doors, fixing the railing. I was woken up to the sounds of maintenance men grinding stuff at 7am on a Sunday morning. I even scooted a chair in front of my door bc I felt I needed an extra laying of protection. I wouldn’t dare leave the hotel room at night. So much foot traffic roaming around.

Negatives: It was soo bad! It was more than dirty it was really disgusting with animals you don’t wanna see in your life. I am already at the lawyer to get my money back because we did not stay more than 3 minutes and the guy at the reception said we will get our money back but still did not have it. They don’t answer so this case will go to court.

Negatives: Everything

Negatives: We didn't set an alarm but was woken up at 5:30 by guest passing by talking loud and music playing. The toilet didn't flush correctly. I got the room expecting breakfast from 6 to 9 went for breakfast at 8:10 and there was only cornflakes. Was expecting hot breakfast.

Negatives: The bed mattress was horrible. It had deep dent in the mattress on both sides where you had to sleep. The bed bottom had pieces of iron sticking out. If you did not watch, you would have hit your leg on it. The wall was fithy. It also didn't have a refrigerator or coffee pot. The plate in the microwave was not the correct one. When you ask the employee something instead of them getting off of personal phone calls, they continue to talk on the phone. I have stayed at several of the La Quinta, and this one was horrible. It makes me not want to stay at any of your hotels anymore.

Negatives: Tiles missing in bathroom, shower got water on floor, mold around venting bathroom. No way to get extra pillows.

Negatives: Two homeless people were arguing outside my room at 2am. The breakfast was 12 muffins, toast, yogurt, Cherish and Raisin brand. cereal.

Negatives: Aside from the employees in the front desk, nothing is worth saving from here.

Negatives: When I arrived it was dark and outside lights hadn’t kicked on yet so after I checked in it was impossible to see room numbers and the front desk person was too busy on their phone to show me on the map where to go. Got into the room and it was extremely run down despite the front desk area being really nice. Had to step up into the shower making it even super small for myself and I’m only 5’2”. Both our refrigerator and our microwave didn’t work which when we went to tell front desk the next day they were once again more concerned with talking on the phone. We tried to get ice but none of the ice machines were working. The rooms don’t have do not disturb signs and when we asked at the front desk they said they don’t have them and wrote our room number down not to clean….they still went in it while we were gone anyways and then knocked on our door the following day wanting to come in again to clean. The beds were super low to the ground and extremely hard.

Negatives: Super sketchy area. Definitely park where you can see your vehicle from your room.
