Location was convenient for driving around Dallas, easy access to the main highway
Negatives:
Our room was facing the express way so it was a bit noisy. We requested a cot in advance but it was not brought to our room and when I asked for it they told me we will have to wait until the next day as housekeeping was not available after 9 pm. No breakfast available but there was a cafe in the lobby.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable! It is quite noisy, but since the hotel is located next to a highway, this is something expectable.
Negatives:
The breakfast range is not very big, so we decided to eat somewhere else. The reception staff was not unfriendly, but seemed a bit absent and not very welcoming.

They never read your requests, they are not clear with the charges.
The receptionist told me a final pricing but they ended up charging me an additional amount 10 days later (even when I told then via booking my arrival time).
Bad and poor breaksfast paid options.

Everyone who worked at the front desk of the hotel was excellent...very accommodating and friendly.
Across the street was a good strip shopping center with a 24-hour CVS, a Tom Thumb grocery store, and an excellent Turkish restaurant (Ephesus) where we ate two nights. (Order the lamb shish kebab!)
Negatives:
The location, slightly off the beaten path (a fair number of homeless people living under the Central Expressway overpass, across the street from the hotel). That said, the hotel isn't responsible...it's life in America these days. I didn't feel particularly unsafe, but some visitors might.

The location suited our plans for viewing the solar eclipse. It was convenient to parks and other attractions, dining, and a Tesla charging station.
Negatives:
The breakfast included by the hotel was a cup of coffee and a pastry. Other limited options were available for a cost at the small cafe. For the price of the stay, it seemed unusually chintzy not to allow guests to choose from a variety of options for the included breakfast. There was no daily housekeeping unless guests arranged for it in advance. If you needed towels, coffee for the room coffeemaker, or trash pickup, you had to search for a staff member to take care of your request. Again, for the price of the stay, this seemed unusually chintzy and a time waster for guests.
