I liked that I was able to check in before 4pm

I didn’t like the rude front desk clerk. I had called before arriving to the hotel to ask if I could check in then and was told yes. When I arrived i was told I couldn’t check in. Nonetheless I was able to get into my room before 4pm. Just too much shenanigans.
I was really unhappy about the “ring” apparatus looking device next to the door/bathroom of my room. When I asked the fro desk I was told it is a sensor for the ac unit, or the balcony - didn’t make sense since we didn’t have a balcony. She said maybe it was for the ADA room, but it wasn’t. The device was extremely creepy and made my daughter and I a bit uneasy.

The room was great, I enjoyed the stay, the room was clean, and it was my first time here. I would like to start staying here instead of where I normally stay (Galveston Beach Hotel). I think I overlook this one because its pricier.
Negatives:
I don't have any complaints. We enjoyed our stay. Maybe next time we will stay longer and have a better review to give. For the 1 night stay we have ZERO complaints. Thank you.

Beautiful, clean place for family...
Positives:
Overall the property was clean and the room was kept up. The location was nice and close to shopping if necessary and plenty of locations to dine within walking distance.
Negatives:
The water pressure in the shower was weak and the shower head was in need of replacement. There was no ventilation fan in the bathroom to remove steam from showering. The doors to the lanai needed to be re-aligned to close properly. The outside traffic noise was very loud with the doors and windows closed.
