First time booking a bottom floor and it was a nightmare. Was jolted out of bed several times throughout the night. Poor construction has resulted in being able to hear every step taken by tenants above, as well as every door opening/closing around/above us. Youd have thought owners would have learned by now, but nothey continue building cheaply and cut corners on critical soundproofing.

If youre a light to moderate sleeper, dont book a bottom floor room unless you like being awakened throughout the night
