Best Western Huntsville

Negatives: There were people doing drugs in the walkway. The room we were assigned had people’s stuff in it. They had no other options since they didn’t have a elevator and my daughter is in a wheelchair

Negatives: The cleanliness was just NOT there. Dirty towels, bed NOT made, trash cans full of trash.

Negatives: The sheets and bathtowels were dirty/stained.

Negatives: The bathroom floor was sticky. There was poo in the toilet when I checked in, there was no option to stop the drain in the tub. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was it was close and it had a tub so I could bathe. There was candy stuck to the wall under the bedside table. I actually felt dirtier after I got in the bath than before. I saw the cart the cleaning ladies were using when they were going between rooms and there wasn’t even a mop on the cart to be able to clean the floors properly.

Negatives: Water faucet barely worked in bathroom sink. Room had connecting door to another room. Could see light all around the door when other room had lights on, felt very insecure. I didn’t realize when booking that rooms opened to outside which is not my preference but mistake on my part.

Negatives: Completely false advertised. We paid for a modern, bright, spacious room with a sofa bed and got a dark furniture, loud, not updated, non carpeted, strong cleaner smelly room. It didn’t have a sofa bed or sofa, it didn’t have outlets to hold the chargers in, only one side of the bed had a lamp, there were glowy stars on the ceiling like someone’s bedroom, the light in the bathroom wouldn’t turn on without the loudest blower, the curtains didn’t cover enough light, the toilet didn’t flush with the handle. We had to move the lid and flush it that way, the neighbors adjoining us yelled all night, it was a motel, not a hotel. The entrance was on the outside. The room wasn’t ready when we were sent upstairs with the key. The cleaner they used gave us headaches. There was only one face towel for 2 people, and the property was in a dark and hidden location behind an Office Depot, a car lot and a few restaurants that were taken over in the parking lots by feral cats and a homeless person. Definitely not what was described in the booking. We knew we couldn’t find another place to stay without dealing with cancelation fees and there was a huge event in town we were attending. (Regionals cross country) we were still charged almost $200 for one night for a room that felt like a motel 6 at best. I will never trust staying at a Best Western again after this.
